Hoya d16 h40

probuket

Hoya is an indoor vine with thick glossy leaves and waxy star-shaped flowers gathered in umbels. In a 16 cm diameter pot, a plant about 40 cm tall forms a lush bush that can be trained on a support or left to hang freely. The shoots become woody at the base over time, while young stems reach upward, clinging to any support.

Place the hoya in a bright spot without direct midday rays — an east or west windowsill will do. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, less often in winter. The plant prefers loose soil and does not tolerate waterlogging in the saucer. Repot as the pot fills with roots, usually every two to three years.

Its compact form is suitable for decorating a windowsill or shelf in a living room. Hoya is given as a housewarming gift or as a present for a loved one who is passionate about plants.
