Calathea d19 h75

probuket

Calathea is a plant with vibrant, patterned leaves. Large oval leaves are gathered into a lush rosette and covered with an expressive design of alternating stripes and spots. The underside of the leaves is often colored in a rich burgundy or purple tone, which gives the bush depth and contrast. The height of the plant in this variant is 75 cm, and the pot diameter is 19 cm, so the bush looks substantial and is suitable for floor placement.

Place the calathea in a spot with soft, diffused light, away from direct sunlight and drafts. It looks great in a living room or bedroom, near a window facing east or west. The plant loves high humidity, so it is helpful to keep it away from radiators and occasionally mist the air around it.

Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, using settled water at room temperature. Overwatering is harmful to the roots, so drain excess water from the saucer. Calathea will become an expressive accent in the interior and a fitting gift for a housewarming or birthday.
