Bouquet Strings of the Soul

A small children's bouquet is suitable as a first gift for a young recipient or as a modest addition to the main present. The blue color and neat shape make it appropriate for a birthday or for giving on the first day of school. Lavender fills the space with a delicate herbal aroma that lingers even after drying.

To keep cut lavender looking fresh longer, trim the stems at a sharp angle and place them in clean room-temperature water, changing it every two days. Keep the vase away from direct sunlight and drafts.
