Your Day Bouquet

Such a bouquet is appropriate as a gift for a birthday or a personal celebration—for example, completing an important milestone. It doesn't require a grand occasion: daffodils themselves look like the beginning of spring, so they are a pleasure to receive even without a special date. The composition holds its shape due to the number of flowers, not the wrapping, so it's easy to put in a vase without rearranging.

To make cut daffodils last longer, trim the stems at an sharp angle and change the water daily. Keep the vase away from direct sunlight and drafts—this way the flowers open gradually and don't wilt prematurely.
