Regal pelargonium d12 is a plant with large, striking flower clusters that immediately catch the eye. The pot diameter is 12 cm. Dense, ruffled leaves with wavy edges form a neat clump, and above them rise domes of flowers with velvety petals. The shades depend on the variety, but the shape of the buds remains recognizable: each resembles a small pansy with a darker center.

It is best to place the plant on a windowsill of an east- or west-facing window—there is enough soft light, but no scorching sun. With insufficient light, the shoots stretch out and flowering becomes sparse. In summer, you can take the pot out onto the balcony, protecting it from drafts and midday heat.

Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out. Stagnant water in the saucer is harmful to the roots, so excess is drained after half an hour. Pelargonium prefers a cool winter and infrequent watering during this period. It is suitable as a decoration for a windowsill or desk—for example, for a housewarming or birthday.
