Red Passionflower d9

In a 9 cm pot grows a compact plant with lobed leaves and clinging tendrils that hold onto a support. The flowers are red, with the structure typical of passionflowers: a flat corolla and a prominent center. This vine is perfect for those who love unusual houseplants and are ready to give attention to shaping.

Place the passionflower in a bright spot without direct midday sun, such as near an east- or west-facing window. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, avoiding waterlogging in the saucer. The plant needs a support for its tendrils to cling to. It makes a great gift for a housewarming or birthday.
