Bouquet of salmon tulips

Tulips of the salmon variety open gradually: the buds hold their shape, while the petals shimmer from rich coral to a light, almost nude tone. Sturdy stems and neat greenery emphasize the noble simplicity of the flower. The bouquet works both as a standalone gift and in combination with other plants if you want to create a fuller composition.

To keep cut tulips fresh longer, trim the stems at an angle and place them in cool water, changing it daily. Keep the vase away from direct sunlight and drafts — this way the petals will retain their color and firmness.
