Guzmania d14 h40

probuket

Guzmania d14 h40 immediately catches the eye with its bright bract that crowns a rosette of narrow, smooth leaves. The leaves themselves are gathered into a neat funnel and colored in rich green, while the top of the plant seems to glow with a warm hue, retaining its shape and color for a long time. A height of forty centimeters with a pot diameter of fourteen makes the plant a noticeable accent, suitable for giving as a housewarming or birthday gift.

It is best to place the guzmania in a bright spot without direct sunlight — a windowsill with soft diffused light or a shelf deeper in the room will do. Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out, and pour water into the center of the funnel, from where the plant naturally draws moisture. Wipe the leaf blades with a damp cloth from time to time to prevent dust from settling on them.

The compact rosette does not take up much space, so the plant easily fits into the interior of an apartment or office. Guzmania looks equally good as a standalone accent or in the company of other houseplants on a shelf.
