A compact citrus tree with bright fruits. The Meiwa kumquat is a neat little tree with a dense crown of small glossy leaves. The fruits are small, oval, orange, with thin sweet skin and juicy flesh. The plant is decorative all year round: in spring it is covered with white fragrant flowers, later adorned with ripening fruits.

Place the kumquat near a window with bright diffused light, shading it from the midday sun. It is suitable for a bright living room, kitchen, or study. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, less often in winter. It is useful to spray the leaves to maintain air humidity.

The little tree will be appreciated by citrus and indoor garden enthusiasts. It is appropriate as a gift for a housewarming or birthday, as well as for your own plant collection.
