Stromanthe sanguinea is a compact houseplant with striking leaves. Its elongated blades are adorned with contrasting stripes and strokes, and the underside of the leaf has a rich burgundy hue. Young plants form a neat rosette that becomes fuller over time. In the d10 h20 option, the plant is about 20 cm tall in a pot with a diameter of 10 cm; in the d12 h25 size, it is approximately 25 cm with a 12 cm pot.

It is best to place the stromanthe in a bright spot without direct sunlight: diffused light preserves the brightness of the pattern. A windowsill on the east or west side or a spot deeper in the room near a window will work. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, using soft, settled water. The plant likes high humidity, so it is useful to keep it away from drafts and radiators.
