Aloe Vera

Aloe vera brings a sense of calm, almost medicinal cleanliness into the home — as if a little green healer has taken up residence on the windowsill. Its thick, fleshy leaves form a neat rosette and curve slightly outward, with soft teeth along the edges. In the 'Aristata' variety, the leaves are narrow and pointed; in Aloe vera, they are wider and juicier. The surface is smooth, with a light bluish bloom, and it seems to hold a coolness within.
