Bouquet of asters

probuket

Asters are a classic autumn bouquet, suitable both for the Day of Knowledge and as a birthday gift. Lush flower heads with many thin petals are gathered into a voluminous arrangement, where each flower opens gradually, creating a soft transition from tight buds to fully bloomed heads. One and a half bunches of asters provide enough material for the bouquet to look full and textured rather than sparse.

Such an arrangement is suitable for a teacher, colleague, or loved one who appreciates the understated beauty of fresh flowers. Asters hold their shape without additional decoration, so the bouquet looks good both in a tall vase and in a wide, low container. Their double flower heads add an autumnal mood to the interior, and the neutral palette allows the arrangement to blend with any table setting.

To make cut asters last longer, trim the stems at an angle and change the water every two days, removing lower leaves that may end up in the water. Choose a clean vase and keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight and drafts.
