Thomson's clerodendrum d9

probuket

Clerodendrum thomsoniae is a vine with flexible shoots, grown as a trailing or bushy plant. Its leaves are large, oval, with prominent veins, and a rich green color. The main decoration is the inflorescences: white lantern-like calyces from which velvety red petals with long stamens emerge. Flowering occurs in the warm season and lasts several weeks.

A 9 cm diameter pot is convenient to place on a windowsill, shelf, or stand in a bright room. The plant loves bright indirect light without direct rays at midday, and responds well to east and west windows. In summer, fresh air is beneficial, but avoid drafts.

Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, using soft, settled water. In winter, reduce watering, making sure the soil does not dry out completely. To form a neat crown, trim long shoots, and install a support in advance. It is suitable as a gift for someone who enjoys indoor gardening and will become a home decoration for a family celebration.
