Cactus mix

probuket

The cactus mix will appeal to those who appreciate low-maintenance plants with character. Depending on the variant, the pot contains a mammillaria, echinopsis, or prickly pear — all of them have a thick, fleshy stem and spines. The mammillaria's stem is covered with small white spikes, the echinopsis has a ribbed stem with long straight needles, and the prickly pear forms flat oval segments. This decorative mix looks graphic and is suitable for a windowsill or desktop.

Place the plant in the brightest spot — cacti love direct sunlight and tolerate dry air well. Water moderately, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings, and in winter reduce watering to once every few weeks. A pot with drainage holes will help prevent waterlogging.

Such a cactus makes a fitting gift for a housewarming or for a colleague who is into plants. It requires little attention and keeps its shape for a long time, decorating the space with its strict silhouette.
