31 pink rose

Pink softens the formality: this arrangement is suitable for congratulating a dad or brother if you want to move away from classic red shades and choose a more subdued tone. Thirty-one roses make a standalone bouquet that needs no added greenery or other plants.

To keep cut roses fresh longer, trim the stems at a sharp angle and change the water in the vase every two days, rinsing the container. Remove any leaves that end up below the water level — this way the stems won't start to rot.
