Bouquet of delicate gladioli

Such a bouquet is given to a grandfather or father—on the occasion of an anniversary or another important celebration. Gladioli are associated with respect and recognition, so they are fitting where one wants to express esteem without unnecessary words. In an interior, they look good in a tall vase and become the central accent of a festive table.

To keep cut flowers standing longer in a vase, trim the stems at an acute angle and change the water every couple of days, rinsing the vessel. Keep the bouquet away from drafts and direct sunlight—this way the blooms will stay fresh longer.
