The variegated croton immediately catches the eye with its bright, almost painted foliage. Its large leaves are gathered into a lush crown and are unevenly colored: on a green background, yellow, orange, and reddish veins and spots appear, and the shape can be broad or narrow, with a wavy edge. In the Petra variety, the pattern is especially contrasting, while in Excellent, it is denser and darker. The young d12 h25 is a compact plant 25 cm tall in a pot 12 cm in diameter, which is convenient to place on a windowsill or desk.

Croton should be placed in a bright spot without direct sunlight: bright diffused light maintains the variegation, while midday sun leaves burns. The plant is heat-loving and dislikes drafts, so it feels better away from air conditioners and open windows. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, using soft, settled water at room temperature. Wipe the leaves from time to time with a damp cloth.

Such a flower is suitable as a gift for a housewarming or birthday for someone passionate about plants.
