How to Choose a Carnation Bouquet for the Occasion and Recipient?

Carnations suit any occasion: whether as a modest gesture of attention or a lavish bouquet for a celebration. To make your choice easier, here are a few ideas.

For a romantic surprise. Pink and red shades are a win-win. Pink tones work in any situation: go for the "Bouquet of Pink Dianthus" (from 61 GBP) or the "Bouquet of 11 Pink Carnations" (from 15 GBP). For those who appreciate refined choices, the "Nezhenka Bouquet" (from 47 GBP) is delicate and festive.

For mom, grandma, or a colleague. White carnations are a classic. The "Bouquet of 19 White Carnations" (from 25 GBP) makes an impression with its volume. And the "Bouquet of 3 White Carnations" (from 3 GBP) is a pleasant and affordable token of attention.

For a bright accent. The "Boheme Bouquet" (from 19 GBP) will surely appeal to those who love unusual combinations. And "2 Red Carnations" (from 3 GBP) is a minimalist yet expressive option.

For a big event. If you need an impressive bouquet, choose compositions with a larger number of flowers. For example, the "Bouquet of Pink Dianthus" or the "Nezhenka Bouquet." Such bouquets look great both in a floor vase and on a festive table.

Besides carnations, our assortment includes roses, tulips, chrysanthemums, and floral arrangements. If carnations aren't the only thing you're looking for, take a look there.

How Do We Deliver Carnations in England?

The courier brings the bouquet to the recipient's address at the chosen time. An image of the finished bouquet is sent to you before the order is handed to the courier. Delivery is available both at a precise time and at night. You can arrange anonymous delivery, and a card is included free of charge.

How to Care for Carnations at Home to Make Them Last Longer?

Carnations are known for lasting a long time, but with these tips they'll stay fresh even longer.

Vase. Wash it thoroughly and fill with room-temperature water. Carnations don't like cold water.

Angled cut. Use a sharp knife to cut the stems diagonally at a 45-degree angle. To prevent air from entering the capillaries, cut the stems under running water. Remove the lower leaves: if they end up in water, they'll start to rot.

Food for cut carnations. Use a ready-made flower solution and dilute it according to the package instructions. If you don't have a ready-made solution, add a teaspoon of sugar and a little lemon juice. Such care will help the bouquet stay fresh longer.

Fresh water. Refresh the water every two days and trim the stems by a couple of centimeters. Wash the vase and remove wilted petals.

Choose the right spot. Carnations don't tolerate direct sunlight, drafts, or heat from radiators. It's best not to place them near fruit: fruit releases ethylene, which speeds up wilting.

Don't put them in the same vase with other flowers. Carnations can suppress their neighbors. It's better to create separate arrangements.

Mist them. Occasionally spray the buds and leaves with a spray bottle. This is especially important during the heating season.

If you follow these recommendations, the bouquet will delight you with freshness for much longer.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
