Melissa Bouquet

Pink peonies are suitable for a wedding celebration and for a birthday — in both cases, the bouquet sets a mood of soft solemnity. Such volume will appeal to those who appreciate generous, eye-catching arrangements and love it when flowers become the main focal point of a space. Sarah Bernhardt peonies are also great as a standalone gift: they need no additions, they are self-sufficient.

To keep cut peonies in a vase as long as possible, trim the stems at an angle and change the water every two days, re-cutting the stems each time. Keep the vase away from direct sunlight, drafts, and fruits — ripe fruits release ethylene, which accelerates petal wilting.
