Epipremnum Brazil

A liana with variegated heart-shaped leaves for the home.

Epipremnum 'Brasil' is a climbing plant with flexible stems and dense leaves. Each leaf has a green background with cream and golden streaks, and its shape resembles a heart. The golden variety is particularly striking in its variegation: light spots and stripes cover a noticeable part of the leaf blade. Young leaves are smaller, and as the plant matures, they become larger and denser.

Place the pot with the epipremnum on a windowsill or near a window where there is plenty of soft, diffused light. The plant looks great on a shelf, in a hanging planter, or on a stand where the stems can hang freely. Direct sunlight causes burns, so it's best to shade it from a south-facing window during hot hours.

Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out. Overwatering is more harmful than drought, so drain excess water from the saucer. In winter, reduce watering. It makes a suitable gift for a housewarming or birthday for those who love greenery in the interior.
