Bouquet of mimosa and tulips

Such an ensemble is appropriate at a wedding — bridesmaids can hold it, and it also works as a congratulation for a colleague. Yellow symbolizes warmth and the beginning of spring, so the composition fits well into the atmosphere of May 9, when fresh flowers are especially valued. Mimosa and tulips look great together, creating a sense of celebration and renewal.

To keep cut flowers fresh longer, trim the stems at an acute angle and place them in clean, cool water, changing it daily. Keep the vase away from direct sunlight and drafts — this way mimosa and tulips will retain their shape and color.
