Wax Ivy hanging d16 h35

probuket

Wax ivy (trailing) is a plant with cascading shoots covered in dense, leathery leaves. The leaves are heart-shaped with a glossy surface that softly reflects light. In a pot 16 cm in diameter and 35 cm tall, the shoots form a lush cascading crown that looks striking in a hanging planter or on a high shelf. This plant is often chosen as a housewarming gift or as a thank-you for hospitality.

It is best to place the plant in a spot with bright indirect light or in partial shade. Direct sunlight can cause leaf burn, so it is worth shading the plant during hot midday hours. The ivy does well at normal room temperature and does not require special growing conditions.

Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out. Overwatering is harmful to the roots, so drain excess water from the saucer. On hot days, it is helpful to mist the leaves with soft water to maintain air humidity. Regular pruning helps maintain shape and encourages shoot branching.
