Denver Bouquet

Such a bouquet is suitable for a birthday or anniversary—occasions when you want to express deep feelings without unnecessary words. Tulips are versatile: they look equally good in the hands of a loved one and as a gift for a colleague or friend, if you want to make an impression with restrained but tangible luxury. The composition requires no accompaniment—it is a complete message in itself.

To help cut tulips keep their shape longer, trim the stems at a sharp angle and place them in cool water, changing it daily. Keep the vase away from direct sunlight and drafts—this way the flowers will stay fresh and firm.
