The Cape spider plant brings a feeling of lightness and freshness into the home. Its narrow, arching leaves are gathered into lush tufts that hang beautifully over the edges of the pot. The green foliage with white longitudinal stripes looks elegant and seems to glow from within, enlivening even a modest windowsill. The plant is compact, with a pot diameter of 9 cm, so it will easily find a place on a shelf, table, or hanging planter.

It is best to place the spider plant in a spot with bright indirect light or in partial shade — direct sunlight can leave burns on the leaves. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out: standing water in the pot harms the roots, while short-term drought is tolerated calmly. In the warm season, the plant responds to regular watering with lush growth of new rosettes.

Such a flower is suitable as a gift for a housewarming or simply to add greenery to a work corner. It is undemanding, suitable for beginner gardeners and those who are often on the go.
