Pilea glauca d12

probuket

Pilea glauca d12 is a compact houseplant in a 12 cm pot. It has fleshy, slightly pointed leaves of a silvery-green shade with a light waxy bloom, densely set on short petioles and forming a neat, lush rosette. The shoots grow thickly, so the plant looks full and well-groomed even without shaping.

You can place the pilea on a windowsill with soft, diffused light or on a shelf near a window — direct sunlight leaves spots on the leaves, so it's best to shade the plant during hot hours. It's suitable for greening a desk, a kitchen windowsill, or a bright living room. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out: waterlogging in the pot harms the roots, while drying out leads to loss of leaf turgor. In winter, reduce watering based on the condition of the soil.

Pilea glauca d12 is a good gift for a colleague or a loved one who is into houseplants, and it will also be a pleasant addition to a home collection.
