Senecio rowleyanus d12

probuket

Senecio rowleyanus is a trailing plant with long, prostrate or hanging shoots. Its leaves are gathered into spherical green beads with a thin light stripe and a pointed tip; they feel firm and are covered with a bluish waxy bloom. The stems are thin, and over time they cascade beautifully from the pot. Pot diameter — 12 cm.

You can place the plant on a windowsill or shelf, setting the pot so that the shoots have room to hang down. It suits a bright spot without direct sun: bright indirect light will keep the beads plump and the green rich. Water moderately, letting the soil dry out between waterings — stagnant moisture harms the roots. In winter, reduce watering, while in summer the plant responds well to fresh air without drafts.

This indoor flower is a fitting gift for a housewarming or birthday for a plant lover. It is undemanding in care and suitable for those who are often away.
