Bouquet of lilies

A bouquet of lilies is a classic of floristry. Large buds with dense petals open gradually, filling the space with a soft fragrance. The composition contains only lilies, and this makes it concise: nothing distracts from the expressive flowers and their natural grace. Seven lilies in a bouquet look cohesive and festive, while their stems with dark greenery create a noble contrast with the delicate buds. The flowers hold their shape beautifully, so the bouquet is appropriate both for a birthday and as a gift for an anniversary. Lilies are valued for their restrained beauty and ability to transform any room — from a living room to a meeting room. To keep cut flowers fresh longer, trim the stems at an acute angle and change the water in the vase every two days, removing lower leaves that may end up in the water.
