Marble lipstick plant is a trailing plant with variegated leaves. Its stems cascade down, adorning hanging planters and shelves. The leaves are thick, with a marbled pattern of green and cream spots, and bright tubular flowers appear during the blooming period. Such a plant will enliven the interior and is suitable as a gift for a loved one on a birthday or housewarming.

Place the lipstick plant in a spot with bright indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight. An east or west windowsill will work. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, using soft settled water. The plant prefers high humidity, so it is helpful to mist the leaves or place the pot on a tray with wet expanded clay. In winter, reduce watering and lower the temperature for a rest period. Regular pruning stimulates branching and maintains its decorative appearance.
