Medinilla magnifica is a plant that immediately draws attention with its large, drooping flower clusters. Pink bracts form a cascade, from under which small flowers peek out, while dense green leaves emphasize the decorative form. Such a plant is appropriate to give as a housewarming or birthday gift.

It is best to place the medinilla in a bright spot without direct sunlight — diffused light maintains the brightness of the bracts. A windowsill of an east- or west-facing window will do, as well as a spacious room where the plant has enough space for its spreading crown. It does not tolerate drafts or sudden temperature changes.

Watering should be regular: moisten the soil when the top layer dries slightly, without water stagnating in the saucer. Wipe the leaves from time to time with a damp cloth so that dust does not settle on them. Medinilla prefers high humidity, so you can place a container of water nearby.
