3 red roses

Such a bouquet is appropriate for a romantic confession or a personal congratulation — when you want to say the main thing without resorting to lavishness. Three roses are easy to imagine in the hands of someone who has chosen brevity over verbosity. The arrangement looks equally good in clear glass and in simple kraft packaging that emphasizes the natural beauty of the flower.

To make cut roses last longer, trim the stems with a sharp knife at an angle and place them in clean cool water, which should be changed daily. Keep the vase away from direct sun, drafts, and ripe fruit — this way the flowers will stay fresh noticeably longer.
