The Chabaud carnation makes a strong impression with its large, lush flower heads and dense, almost waxy petals. The plant is compact, with straight stems and narrow, greyish-green leaves that create a neat silhouette. The buds open gradually, filling the plant with volume and expressiveness.

A potted carnation is easy to place on a windowsill with bright, indirect light or on a bright loggia. The plant prefers coolness and fresh air, so it feels best away from heating appliances. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, avoiding waterlogging in the saucer. For abundant blooming, it is helpful to remove faded flower heads.

Such an indoor flower is suitable as a gift for a birthday or as a thank-you for hospitality. It will appeal to those who appreciate neat flowering plants and are ready to devote a little time to care.
