25 pink roses

Such a bouquet is appropriate to give to your mother, a close friend, or a colleague—those to whom you want to express warm feelings without excessive pomp. The pink shade does not demand formality: it looks equally good in festive decor and in an ordinary home setting. Twenty-five roses hold their shape on their own, so the bouquet does not need tight wrapping and stands well in a simple glass vase.

To keep cut flowers fresh longer, trim the stems at an sharp angle and change the water every two days, washing the vase. Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight, drafts, and ripe fruits—they accelerate the wilting of the petals.
