Scindapsus is a hardy vine with decorative foliage. In a pot 16 cm in diameter and 40 cm high, the plant forms a lush bush of heart-shaped leaves with a slight glossy sheen. The shoots cascade down or reach upward if there is support nearby. The leaves are dense, green, with a striking pattern of light spots and strokes that makes the plant showy even without blooming.

You can place the scindapsus on a windowsill, shelf, or in a hanging planter. It tolerates partial shade well, so it is suitable for rooms with north- and east-facing windows. In diffused light, the pattern on the leaves becomes brighter, while with insufficient lighting the greenery darkens. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out: stagnant water in the pot is harmful to the roots. In summer, it is useful to mist the leaves and wipe them free of dust.

The plant is suitable for those who appreciate low-maintenance greenery in the interior, and it also makes an appropriate gift for a housewarming or birthday.
