A bouquet of 25 mixed alstroemerias looks like a cloud of living colors: the buds open differently, so the pattern in the composition constantly changes, and the eye finds new shades again and again. The sturdy stems hold their shape, the greenery emphasizes the brightness of the petals, and together it looks festive and light—without excessive lushness, but very expressive.

This combination is appropriate both for a holiday and simply when you want to give a loved one a good mood. For March 8, a bouquet of 25 mixed alstroemerias will be a striking gift: it is large enough to take center stage in a room, yet it doesn't look stiff. Alstroemerias are great because they stay fresh for a long time and hardly lose their color.

To make cut flowers last as long as possible in a vase, cut the stems at an acute angle and change the water every two days, rinsing the vase. Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight, drafts, and fruits—this way the alstroemerias will remain strong and bright.
