Freshness Bouquet

Such a bouquet is suitable both as a birthday gift and as a standalone spring present—no need for a special occasion. Hyacinths are wonderful in interiors: they fill the room with a subtle fragrance and look beautiful in a simple glass vase, requiring no elaborate decoration.

To keep cut hyacinths fresh longer, trim the stems at an angle and change the water every couple of days, re-trimming the ends. Keep the vase away from direct sunlight, drafts, and ripe fruit—this way the blooms will fade more slowly.
