Pro-Buket: in London, your order is arranged by florists who then hand it to the recipient at the agreed time. A gladiolus is recognised by its tall stem and tight buds that open gradually, one after another.
A gladiolus needs no explanation — it speaks for itself. It announces itself: slender, tall, with large flowers gathered into a long spike. In a bouquet, it holds its shape and sets the height, so even a few stems look like a complete arrangement. We arrange gladioli in London and deliver them across London — the recipient sees the bouquet exactly as the florist arranged it.
Gladioli are appropriate when you want to say more than a small bouquet allows. The tall stem makes them immediately visible: the bouquet won't get lost on a festive table or in a hallway.
We take a photo of the finished arrangement and send it to you so you know what the recipient's order looks like.
Delivery is only possible within the city selected on the site. You choose a convenient moment — and the courier brings the bouquet to the recipient's address at the chosen time.
A card with gladioli is free: leave your text and we'll include it with the order.
Sometimes the recipient isn't at home. We wait on site for 15 minutes, then contact the sender. If you agree, the bouquet is left at reception or in a nearby shop. If you're not sure the recipient will be there, it's better to warn them in advance or schedule a time when they're definitely home.
Gladioli stay fresh for a long time if you create the right conditions from the first minutes. Here's what we recommend doing at home — these simple steps work for any gladioli, no matter which bouquet you choose.
Trim the stems. As soon as you have the flowers, cut the bottom of the stem at an angle with a sharp knife or secateurs. An angled cut increases the absorption area — water can rise up the stem more easily. Cut the stem under running water or immediately place the flowers in a vase — this prevents air pockets from forming in the vessels.
Choose a taller vase. Gladioli are tall flowers, and in a low vase they will topple. Use a stable vase so the stems stand upright and don't break under their own weight. Fill it about one-third or half full — so that water covers the lower part of the stems.
Change the water regularly. Clean water is the main thing that prolongs the life of a bouquet. Refresh the water every one to two days and rinse the vase: film on the walls is a breeding ground for bacteria. Each time you change the water, refresh the cut — trim a couple of centimetres off the stem.
Remove faded flowers. A gladiolus opens gradually: the lower buds fade while the upper ones are still going. Remove dried flowers — this keeps the bouquet looking neat and preserves its strength longer. Don't touch buds that haven't opened yet: they will bloom on their own.
Find a cool spot. Keep the vase away from radiators, heaters, and direct sunlight. Draughts aren't a good neighbour either: they make stems lean. Ideally, choose a bright place without heat where the bouquet won't be knocked.
Keep away from fruit. Ripe fruit releases a gas that makes flowers fade faster. Don't place gladioli next to a bowl of apples or bananas — this is a simple way to keep the bouquet fresh longer.
Flower food. A cut-flower feed added according to the instructions will support gladioli. If you don't have any, that's fine: regularly changing the water and refreshing the cut already give good results.
Be gentle with the petals. Gladioli don't like being moved and touched often. Decide on a place straight away and don't move the bouquet — this way it will last longer.
We'll arrange the gladioli, photograph them before sending, and deliver them at the chosen time. Want a surprise — add a free card with your words.
