Purple alstroemerias

These flowers work well as a bouquet on their own: they need no companions and look good in a tall vase or a dense low container. They are chosen for birthdays and for get-togethers when you want to give something understated yet noticeable. The purple palette suits those who love calm, deep shades.

To keep cut alstroemerias fresh longer, trim the stems at a sharp angle and change the water every two days, rinsing the vase. Keep the bouquet away from direct sun and drafts.
