A young Aeschynanthus d10 h20 looks like a small but striking accent in the interior: cascading or slightly upright shoots with dense glossy leaves and bright tubular flowers that appear among the greenery. In a pot with a diameter of 10 cm and a plant height of 20 cm, it is compact, so it is suitable for a windowsill, shelf, or hanging planter. It is given as a symbol of home comfort, for example, for a housewarming or to celebrate the beginning of life together.

It is best to place the plant in bright indirect light, without direct midday sun. East and west windows are suitable, while on a south window light shading will be needed. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, using soft, settled water at room temperature. Overwatering is harmful to the roots, so excess water is drained from the saucer. During the period of active growth, it is useful to spray the air around the leaves, avoiding droplets falling on the flowers.

Aeschynanthus prefers warmth and protection from drafts. In winter, it is kept at a cooler temperature, but not below 16 degrees, reducing watering. A young plant can be shaped with light pruning so that the bush remains dense. It is suitable as a gift for someone who appreciates compact indoor flowers and is ready to give them a little attention.
