Lavender Delivery in Austria: Your Bouquet Is Arranged and Delivered on Time
Lavender doesn't try to grab attention with bright colors. It lacks the glossy sheen of a rose or the lushness of a peony, but it has something rarer: calm. That's exactly why people choose it when they want to say something without extra words — to offer support, to remind someone of themselves, or simply to make the day quieter and warmer. We assemble and deliver each one within Austria, right where the recipient is.
Lavender Delivery in Austria: How the Process Works
At Pro-Buket, we arrange things so that the bouquet for the recipient is assembled by a florist who lives in the same city. For Austria, this means the bouquet is put together right here, on the spot, and brought at your chosen time — not shipped across the country in a box. The florist who works with lavender in Austria knows how to handle these delicate stems so they arrive looking their best.
Before your order heads out, we take a photo of the bouquet and send it to you. You see exactly what the recipient will get — no surprises or discrepancies. You pick a convenient hour, and the courier delivers the bouquet right then.
We respect privacy: anonymous delivery is standard practice. With an anonymous order, the courier won't reveal the sender's name if you ask to keep it secret.
And you don't have to worry about logistics — we'll handle everything needed.
When the Recipient Isn't There
Sometimes the courier rings the doorbell, but no one answers. Then we wait 15 minutes and after that call the sender. With your consent, the bouquet can be left at the reception desk or in a nearby shop. To minimize such situations, we agree on all the details and timing with you in advance.
How to Keep Lavender in a Vase: Practical Tips
Lavender isn't the fussiest flower, but it has its own habits. To make lavender last longer in a vase, follow a few practical recommendations.
**1. The stems need to be trimmed. As soon as you receive the bouquet, take a sharp knife or pruners and cut off the bottom 2–3 centimeters of the stems at about a 45-degree angle. This increases the area for water absorption, and the lavender starts drinking more actively. Do this under a stream of cool water — that way no air bubble forms at the cut. Paper scissors or a dull knife will only crush the stem, and such trimming won't help.
2. The water should be cool and clean. Lavender doesn't like warm water — it prefers cool. Fill the vase with settled water — room temperature or slightly cooler. Change the water every two days, and if it becomes cloudy, change it immediately.
**3. Lower leaves — out of the water. All leaves that end up below the water level in the vase must be removed. In water, they rot quickly, and that kills the bouquet faster than anything else. Remove them carefully, trying not to damage the stem.
4. The vase should be clean, the spot cool. Before placing the lavender, wash the vase with soap and rinse it. Put the bouquet in a place without direct sunlight and drafts. Lavender likes calm: don't put it near fruit — they release ethylene, which speeds up wilting.
5. Don't add sugar and don't experiment. Contrary to internet advice, lavender doesn't need sugar, aspirin, or vodka in the water. That will likely do more harm. Clean cool water and regular changes are enough.
6. If lavender starts to wilt. Sometimes stems lose their firmness. When stems have lost their firmness, refresh the cut and put the bouquet in cool water for a few hours — this often brings back its freshness. If the lavender does dry out, don't rush to throw it away: dried lavender bunches keep their scent for a long time and can stand in a vase without water, reminding you of the bouquet for months.
7. Don't touch the flower heads unnecessarily. Lavender is a flower with dense spikes, and extra handling doesn't do it any good. Move the bouquet carefully, holding it by the stems, not the buds.
Why Lavender Is Worth It
Lavender delivery in Austria is a gesture of attention, not showy luxury. We assemble bouquets so they look natural and breathe, rather than resembling a shop window. If you choose lavender, you probably know who you're giving it to and why. Our goal is for the bouquet to arrive on time, in good condition, and with a card that conveys your words. A photo of the bouquet before sending, delivery at the appointed time, night and anonymous delivery — all of this can be ordered for a recipient in Austria. If the recipient doesn't open the door, we'll call you and decide together how to proceed.
