A striking plant with dark velvety spathes. The black calla lily is an indoor flower with large funnel-shaped spathes in a deep, almost charcoal shade and glossy green leaves on long petioles. Depending on the variety, the spathes can be black, pink, or orange, making the plant a bold accent in any interior.

A pot with a calla lily is well placed on a windowsill with soft, diffused light or in a bright part of the room away from drafts. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, avoiding waterlogging in the saucer. This plant will be appreciated by lovers of unusual houseplants, as well as those looking for a striking addition to their home collection or a gift for a move or housewarming.

The black calla lily combines strict graphic lines and rich color, so it looks good in both minimalist and classic interiors. With basic care, the plant remains decorative and becomes the centerpiece of a composition on a windowsill or table.
