White Clivia

You can place the clivia on a windowsill of an east- or west-facing window: bright, diffused light supports flowering, but it is better to shade the bush from direct midday sun. The plant looks good in a bright living room or office where there is enough space for its spreading leaves.

Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out; stagnant water in the pot is harmful to the roots. In winter, reduce watering and slightly lower the temperature — such a rest period stimulates the formation of future flower stalks. It is suitable as a gift for a housewarming or birthday for a houseplant enthusiast.
