Daffodils with Delivery in Sweden

Daffodils are flowers you recognize at a glance: a slender stem, a tight bud, and inside — a sunny crown. In Sweden, daffodils are delivered by a florist working in the same city as the recipient: the arrangement is made locally and sent on its way right away. For Sweden, our catalog features seventeen options — from single daffodil bouquets to mixed compositions.

Daffodil Delivery in Sweden

For daffodils, this is essential: they don't handle long journeys or extra handling well. That's why the bouquet's journey is short — from the florist to the recipient.

A photo of the bouquet is taken before dispatch. The courier brings the bouquet to the recipient's address at the chosen time. You can place an order anonymously — the recipient won't be told the sender's name. Every daffodil bouquet comes with a free card.

If no one answers the door, the courier waits on the doorstep for fifteen minutes. Then the courier calls the sender, and with their consent, the bouquet is handed to reception or left at a nearby shop.

Why Daffodils Are Worth Giving This Way

Daffodils have their own character — they're not about luxury, but about sincerity. They don't look "expensive and lavish," but there's something honest and spring-like about them. They're given without occasion too — simply because you want to cheer up someone close. In Sweden, daffodils are ordered in any season, and they're appropriate both on a weekday and on a holiday.

Daffodils are living flowers, and their lifespan isn't endless. Still, we can make sure daffodils reach the recipient fresh and in good shape. The florist arranges the composition, photographs it, and hands it to the courier. No long warehouses or transfers — just a short journey to the door.

If you're choosing daffodils as a gift, think about how they'll be received. These flowers don't require heavy crystal — they look great in a simple glass or ceramic vase. And one more thing: daffodils have a quirk — their stems release sap that can shorten the life of other flowers in the same vase. If the bouquet includes tulips or other flowers, it's better to keep daffodils separate or let them sit in water for a couple of hours before combining them with others. We can't always predict how a particular bouquet will behave, but it's worth knowing.

How to Keep Daffodils at Home: Vase Care

Even the freshest daffodils can wilt faster if not cared for. A few simple tips will help daffodils in a vase last longer.

Trim the stems. With a sharp knife, cut the ends at about a 45-degree angle. This increases the area for water absorption. Cut under running water or immediately place the stem in the vase — that way an air pocket won't block moisture. Don't use office scissors: they crush the stem, and water rises less easily.

Change the water. Daffodils drink a lot. Pour fresh water every day or every other day. If the water becomes cloudy, it's a sign to change it, even if only a day has passed.

Add flower food. If you have a cut-flower preservative, add it to the water according to the instructions. It contains nutrients and an antibacterial component. If you don't have a special product, you can do without: add a little sugar and a drop of bleach to the water — but plain clean water is enough too.

Keep them cool. Daffodils can't stand heat or direct sunlight. Choose a spot away from drafts and radiators. The cooler it is, the longer they'll last. In cool weather, you can take the vase out to the balcony overnight if it's not below freezing.

Remove faded flowers. A dried flower releases substances that speed up the aging of its vase-mates. The same goes for leaves that start to yellow.

Keep the vase away from fruit. Ripe fruit emits ethylene, which makes daffodils lose freshness faster. This applies to daffodils too. It's better to keep the vase away from the fruit bowl.

Watch the sap. If you've placed daffodils with other flowers, remember: their sap can be toxic to vase-mates. If you notice the water becoming slimy or other flowers wilting faster, separate the daffodils.

Don't move the vase unnecessarily. Any movement is stress for flowers. Once you've found a good spot, leave the vase there.

These tips are universal, but every bouquet is individual. Some things may work better, some worse — it depends on the condition of the flowers at delivery and the conditions at home. If you follow these recommendations, daffodils will have a better chance of staying fresh longer.

Daffodil Delivery in Sweden: What You Need to Know

Bouquets with daffodils are delivered within Sweden. If the recipient is in Sweden, the daffodils will be arranged and handed over right there: the florist will come to them, not forward the flowers elsewhere.

A photo of the daffodils before dispatch is not just a formality.

Choose a bouquet from this section, provide the address and time — we'll take care of arranging, photographing, and dispatching. The florist will arrange the flowers, photograph them, and send them to the recipient. And we'll tell you how to care for daffodils at home so they bring you joy for as long as possible.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
