How to Choose Asters for an Occasion and Recipient?

A bouquet of asters works for a romantic gesture, for congratulating a colleague, or as a warm sign of affection for a loved one. To make sure the composition pleases, think about who it's for.

  • For a loved one. Look at Bouquet Miranda (from 790 SEK) or Bouquet Belle (from 720 SEK) — they look elegant and festive.

  • For parents or older people. Delicate classic asters — Bouquet of Asters Genevieve (from 500 SEK) or Bouquet of Asters Ginette (from 720 SEK).

  • For a friend or colleague. Light and informal compositions: Bouquet Mood (from 650 SEK) or Bouquet Rofix (from 560 SEK).

  • For any occasion. Bouquet Flower Cloud (from 270 SEK) — a budget-friendly option that's always appropriate.

  • Birthday — large and bright compositions work well, such as Miranda or Ginette.

  • Date or anniversary — Mood or Frida (from 650 SEK) are suitable.

  • Just a sign of attention — Flower Cloud or Genevieve.

Consider the recipient's preferences. If they like calm tones, choose light asters; if they prefer bright colors, go for rich shades.

How to Prolong the Freshness of Asters at Home?

With proper care, asters stay fresh for a long time. Here are a few recommendations:

  1. Cut the stem ends at an angle with a knife — scissors can damage the plant's vessels.
  2. Remove leaves from the water. Leaves that end up in the vase under water quickly rot and spoil the water. Pull them off.
  3. Choose a vase. Pour cool water into a clean vase, filling it about two-thirds full. If flower food is included with the bouquet, dissolve it in the water.
  4. Refresh the water every two days, rinsing the vase and trimming the stems by 1–2 cm.
  5. Keep the bouquet away from sun, drafts, and heaters. Asters like coolness and partial shade. It's best not to place the vase near fruit: they release ethylene, which speeds up the wilting of asters.
  6. Moisten the flowers. Periodically spray the buds and leaves with water from a spray bottle to maintain humidity.

Thanks to these tips, asters will stay fresh in the vase longer.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
