Zamioculcas Zenzi is a compact plant with glossy leaves. It is a houseplant in a pot 10 cm in diameter and 20 cm tall. In the Zenzi variety, dense dark green leaflets are gathered on short petioles into neat clusters growing from a thickened base. The plant looks decorative and structured, resembling a miniature palm.

You can place it on a windowsill with bright indirect light or on a table in a bright room. Direct sunlight at noon is best shaded. Watering is infrequent: the soil should dry out well between waterings; standing water is harmful to the roots. In winter, water even less often.

It makes a suitable gift for a housewarming or as a decoration for a study. Care is simple, and the plant is undemanding to the dry air of an apartment.
