Caring for Tulips at Home

Following a few simple tips will let you enjoy your tulips longer. To keep the buds fresh longer, immediately after receiving them, trim the stems at a sharp angle — about 45 degrees. Fill a vase with cool water and keep it clean. Change the water daily, or every other day if you're short on time; with each water change, shorten the stems by 1–2 centimeters. Don't keep the vase near radiators, in drafty areas, or under scorching sun. Remove wilted flowers and leaves promptly so they don't spoil the look of the arrangement. At night, you can move the vase to a cool place — freshness only benefits tulips. If the buds start to close, move the vase to a cool spot. By following these tips, tulips will last significantly longer.

How long will the bouquet last?

How do you ensure freshness?

The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.

Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?

We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.

What if the bouquet is not to their liking?

Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
