Amazonian Ivy

probuket

The Amazonian cissus brings an atmosphere of lightness and natural freshness to the home. Its carved, lace-like leaves of rich green cascade down, creating a sense of tropical greenery right in the room. Depending on the variety, the plant may be available as Roundleaf, Amazonian, or Ellen Danica, and each is decorative in its own way. The plant is 30 cm tall with a pot diameter of 14 cm, making it compact and convenient for placing on a windowsill or shelf.

Caring for cissus is easy. It thrives in bright, indirect light without direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn. Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings to avoid waterlogging in the pot. Cissus enjoys higher humidity, so occasional misting will benefit it.

Such a plant makes a suitable gift for a housewarming or for decorating an office.
