Caring for Sunflowers at Home

To keep sunflowers looking their best longer, follow a few simple rules. Once you have the bouquet, take a sharp knife and cut the stems at an angle. Pour in enough water so the stems are submerged a few centimeters; add flower food if you like. Every 48 hours, change the water and refresh the cut on the stems. Remove any leaves that end up under water, or they will start to rot. Place the vase away from radiators and windows that get direct sun. Sunflowers reach for the light, but direct rays shorten their freshness. If you go away, ask someone close to look after the flowers or move the vase somewhere cooler. If you follow these tips, sunflowers will last up to 10 days in the vase.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?

Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.

How long will the bouquet last?

With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.

How do you ensure freshness?

The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.

Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?

We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.

What if the bouquet is not to their liking?

We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.

Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?

Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
