How to prolong the freshness of dahlias in a vase?

Immediately after unpacking, place the dahlias in cool, clean water. Cut the stem at an angle with a sharp knife — about 45 degrees — so that water rises to the buds without obstruction. Remove the foliage at the bottom of the stem — in the vase it quickly deteriorates and worsens the water. Refresh the water every one to two days and shorten the stems by 1–2 cm with each change. It is better to keep the vase away from sun, drafts, radiators, and heating appliances. If you have a cut-flower preservative, add it to the water; otherwise, the rule applies: fresh water means a longer life for the bouquet. It is better to remove a wilted bud immediately so that it does not take nutrients from healthy flowers. With such care, dahlias delight the eye noticeably longer.

Is night and anonymous dahlia delivery available in Czechia?

The sender remains unknown: the recipient will not find out who sent the dahlias. After waiting 15 minutes for the recipient and not finding them, the courier calls the sender — with their consent, the dahlias can be accepted at the reception desk or at a nearby shop.

Can I place an order in advance?

Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.

How long will the bouquet last?

How do you ensure freshness?

The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.

Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?

We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.

What if the bouquet is not to their liking?

We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.

Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?

Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
