Pomegranate dwarf d19 h70

The dwarf pomegranate is a plant that is appropriate to give for a housewarming or a birthday. A compact pomegranate tree with small glossy leaves and scarlet flowers looks festive all year round, and with good care it sets small fruits. The plant is 70 cm tall, and the pot diameter is 19 cm, so it easily fits on a windowsill or a coffee table.

Pomegranate loves bright indirect light, and it feels best near a south or southwest window, but during the midday heat it needs shading. Water it moderately when the top layer of soil dries out, and less often in winter—about once a week. The plant responds well to a cool winter and fresh air in summer.

Such a gift is suitable for someone who is into indoor gardening or wants to add a touch of the south to their interior. A miniature tree with bright flowers and glossy foliage becomes a living accent in the room and over time turns into a family heirloom.
