Hydrangeas with delivery in Prague

Hydrangeas that will come to you in Prague

A hydrangea doesn't need a special occasion to be given. It's given when you want to say tenderness, gratitude, or care without words. We assemble the arrangement and deliver it to any Prague address at the exact hour you specified. Even before the recipient takes the bouquet in their hands, you will already see in a photo exactly how it will leave.

This means the hydrangeas don't shake on the road for hours, don't sit at transfer points. They are prepared for dispatch on the same day they will arrive to the recipient. This approach allows preserving the freshness and shape of the inflorescences — and hydrangea, as is known, is a flower that requires careful handling.

What is available when ordering hydrangeas in Prague

We understand that delivery is not just logistics. It's an emotion that you give. At Pro-Buket, there are several options that make ordering convenient and predictable.

Photo of the bouquet before dispatch. Before the courier leaves, you will receive a photo of the finished arrangement with hydrangeas. If something needs to be adjusted — for example, adding a card or changing the ribbon shade — we will do it before the courier departs.

Delivery at the exact time. The courier hands the hydrangeas to the recipient in Prague at the moment you specified when placing the order. This is especially important when the bouquet must appear at the right moment: at a meeting, on a birthday, during a date.

This is not a standard service, but we provide it.

Anonymous delivery. The sender remains unknown: the recipient will see only the flowers. The recipient will see only the inflorescences and the card — without questions about who sent them.

Free card with the bouquet. We will attach a card with your text to the hydrangeas. This way you convey warm words even if you are not there in person.

All the listed options are available when you order delivery in Prague.

How hydrangea delivery works in Prague

We accept delivery orders only within the boundaries of Prague. This is not a limitation but a conscious choice: this way we keep quality under control at every stage. The arrangement with hydrangeas for Prague is assembled by a florist who works in this city. They also check every detail: how the inflorescences sit, whether the stems are securely fixed, whether there is enough moisture in the packaging. After that, the courier picks up the assembled arrangement and takes it to the recipient.

If the recipient doesn't open the door, the courier waits on site for 15 minutes. Usually this time is enough for the recipient to come down or at least answer the call. When the door is not opened, we call you as the sender of the order. With your consent, the courier will leave the hydrangeas at the reception desk or with a nearby shop assistant.

We adhere to the time you selected for the bouquet's arrival.

Caring for hydrangeas at home: simple rules

With proper care, hydrangea lasts a long time in a vase. A few simple recommendations will help the bouquet stand in the vase as long as possible.

Trim the stems. With a sharp knife, make an oblique cut at a 45-degree angle. Make the cut with a sharp knife, not scissors, so as not to crush the vessels through which water rises to the inflorescences. Hydrangea stems are dense, so the cut must be clean.

Remove the leaves. Leaves that get into the water rot and spoil it. Remove all excess leaves from the lower part of the stems. If there are side shoots on the stem, it's better to remove them too — they take nutrition from the main inflorescence.

Change the water every day. Hydrangea drinks a lot. The water should be at room temperature, settled or filtered. Each time you change the water, rinse the vase and trim the stems by another couple of millimeters. This helps the flower receive moisture without obstruction.

Add flower food. If you have a cut-flower preservative at home, be sure to pour it into the vase. It contains sugars and antibacterial components that prolong the life of the bouquet.

Spray the inflorescences. Hydrangea loves humidity. Spray the inflorescences daily with a spray bottle — especially if the air in the room is dry. You can also cover the inflorescences with damp paper overnight, but make sure the paper doesn't touch the petals too tightly.

Avoid direct sunlight and drafts. Hydrangea doesn't tolerate heat and sharp temperature changes. Choose a place for the vase with hydrangea away from heaters and air conditioners — in a cool spot. The optimal temperature for a vase with hydrangea is 18–20 degrees Celsius.

Don't place it next to fruit. Ripe fruits release ethylene, which makes hydrangea inflorescences droop faster. This applies to all cut plants, but hydrangea is especially sensitive.

If the inflorescences have started to droop slightly, don't rush to throw away the bouquet. Sometimes it's enough to fully submerge the flowers in water for a few hours — hydrangea can "come back to life" and become firm again. To do this, pour cool water into a basin and submerge the inflorescences entirely, leaving the stems outside. After 2–3 hours, the flowers will recover.

Why people choose Pro-Buket for hydrangea delivery in Prague

Working only in Prague, we maintain a high standard of quality. If you want to please someone close, choose hydrangeas — they will say everything themselves.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
